Sep. 22nd, 2006 10:37 pmA certain someone told me that I really needed to update my journal. So, here we go!
Well, tomorrow is moving day. Kel and I, after 9 months, are finally moving back into a place of our own. It's an amazing townhouse, not too different from the one we lived in when we were in Syracuse. Well, except for the FINISHED BASEMENT that has already become our den/music room, complete with posters and guitars. I'm ecstatic about this place, even if I'm completely exhausted from the combination of working and moving all week.
Speaking of work, it's going well. Well, I think it is anyway. I've been trying to stay on top of things and keep up-to-date. Once we get all settled I'm going to crack down and study so I can get a promotion. We'll see how that works. I figure the more income I can make now, the better off I'll be.
It's so wild to think how much life has changed. Hell, how much I have changed in the last few years. Especially these last two. I've grown up, made some friends that are absolutely irreplacable in my heart, and have become closer to others that I've known for years. I've also lost some friends and burned some bridges along the way, but those have made me a stronger person. I haven't always been perfect or easy to deal with but those who have stood by me and helped me get through the bad are people that I continue to cherish and always will. And I will do anything, absolutely anything, to be there for them whenever they need anything.
On a completely unrelated side note, and so that this doesn't end up becoming a downer or a rant...everyone who hasn't needs to go to the Good Charlotte website and/or their MySpace and listen to the new song. I am completely taken with it already.
