I just love the fact that my brother, who dropped out of school and got his girlfriend pregnant before wising up, getting his GED and starting college, is the golden child now and I'm the miserable black sheep failure.

*shrugs* whatever, man. let them think what they want at this point.

While it is admirable that he in fact got his GED and is going to college doesn't mean you're a fuck up because you're not working in the field you got your degree in. You are working full time, you have a roof over your head that you're sharing with a girlfriend you love. I'd say you're doing pretty damn well :)

oh don't get me wrong, I'm so very very proud of my brother for finally getting his head out of his ass and doing it, because he's capable of so much...he just wanted to party a bit too much in his late teen years. lol

thanks hon. I tend to think I'm doing pretty well myself, it's just sometimes she gets to me. lol In the way that all mothers do on occasion I'm sure.
