Mmmkay. Gonna see if I can do this. Since I was jamming so much that I don't remember what song went where (know what was first and last, the rest are a little sketchy), this is going to be pretty random. :) Since I don't remember what times exactly it happened, let me just say that every time Billy, Joel, Benji AND Paul got on their speaker/tombstone things at the same time, the effect was just really cool and it made me grin. A lot.

The Anthem - it's such the perfect opener. it gets the crowd pumped, everyone knows the words...that was when I realized that I was actually *at* the show and it wasn't just some weird dream. lol then I just started giggling. and I couldn't stop. it was like all the stressing and everything just melted away and I was practically euphoric. it was really weird.

Walk Away - I just sang my heart out to this. Like, a lot. I was trying to watch everyone at once but when I get really into the music, my eyes close. Because of this, I missed a lot of little things that Kel later was like, "did you see when Joel did ___? or when Benji did ___?" and I didn't! *sighs* oh well.

S.O.S. - Okay, how much do I love this song? Seriously. I just do, I love everything about it, and what it says. This is when I just took the time to actually breathe and check out everything. The crowd, the band, the stage...everything. I knew if I didn't do it then, I never would. lol

The World Is Black - After Kel got done squealing like a little girl over Joel having the guitar, we just rocked out. Singing at the tops of our lungs, dancing around. The poor mom behind us, man. She was cracking up.

Festival Song - This song is an 'antique', did you know that? I didn't either. *g* It's so cool to hear live, it's so fun and upbeat. Another where you just practically scream all the words. You feel it more than hear it. If that makes any sense.

My Bloody Valentine - What can be said about this song? I *love* the crowd's reaction here. I've always loved when the entire crowd is just singing and that's practically all you can hear. And during this song, it happens. And when Joel just stops singing and lets the audience take it? It's wild.

The Young and Hopeless - Okay, I can't watch Benji sing when Joel is being a dumbass dancing on the freaking speaker! He's distracting. Little attention whore. But then again, that was one of the two songs in the show when Joel actually *had* my attention for a moment so...I guess he deserved it. Maybe.

Girls and Boys - Benji said that he was dating a girl one time who was a crazy ass bitch (I think those were his words, don't quote me on that) and the song was written about her. LOL I love this song, and Joel's little off to the side clapping thing makes me giggle like a dork. Standing on the speaker and all.

I Just Wanna Live - Pardon me for one second....omgtheydidmyfavoritesongonthenewalbumyay!...ahem. Okay I'm good now. And if you can decipher that, you get a cookie. Or just a yay you, depends on what mood I'm in at that time. I may have squealed, you have no proof, but I CAN admit to just singing my fool head off here. And when the "birthday suit" line came...I'll admit, just this once, that I found Joel to be hot. But again, if you ask I'll deny it.

Ghost of You - This song is so cool. And Benji! Singing! They need to let the boy sing more, damnit! *sighs again* But I do love when Joel goes low. I love low voices. Most of you should not be surprised by this. :)

Mountain - We were told this was written for the fans. Can I get a collective 'awwwww' here? *g* It's such a great song. I really don't have more to say about it than that.

Hold On - I'll admit it. I got teary. The *power* that's behind this song live, just wow. I alternated between watching Kel and watching them, which I think just made it even more meaningful and...yeah. Just woah.

Predictable - I cannot believe this song didn't thrill me at first. But I love it now. I love it a lot. And I *really* love it live. I still love when Joel goes over to the keyboard and bounces while pushing the buttons. It never ceases to make me giggle. And the guitar work in this song just blows me away.

Movin' On - Okay, obviously at this point, you can see there was a LOT of crowd-singing time during this show. Which I love, especially in this kind of forum. The crowd just THROWS it back to the band. I can't imagine there's too many feelings you get onstage greater than that. Talk about a connection.

Lifestyles.... - I'm lazy at this point and not writing the whole title out. Sue me. *g* There was never any doubt that this song was most likely going to be the closer of the show. And I still jumped and bounced around, even though at this point I was getting a bit worn out. LOL

Whee that was long. Holy shit. LOL Oh! One more thing. At one point Joel and Paul were being complete sillies and Paul kicked Joel in the ass. I laughed so hard. *sighs* I love them

I'm jealous, and pissed at myself for not going. If only I had known there'd be actual bleachers... :( Anyways, I'm SO glad things turned out great for you and Kel. *hugs* I told you everything would be fine and look? You had an amazing time. :D

We definitely have to hit the next leg somewhere!
