I guess I'm the only person who's excited about this? LOL

It's likely gonna save me a shitload of money, and I can take a full week off and visit my family too. It couldn't be more perfect.

Besides, Chicago in summertime isn't bad at all. Less hot/humid than Miami, that's for sure! :)

Galveston is cooler than Houston. lol. (water helps that and all).
I still think San Antonio would be the best option...even if there's no water. lol.

It's in CHICAGO?!?! This may mean that I can actually go then! lol...It's close enough that I can drive, cheap enough that I can fly, and I have a friend who lives there that I can crash with for free. And if I didn't go to the Friday night event and just went to Saturday/Sunday stuff, I won't have to take off any work.

So...yes...I am VERY excited!!!! :D

I am planning on taking extra time to visit the SMithsonian and maybe a family friend if I ca ntrac kherdown. I like this much better than Miami, I should be uch more comfortable.

And, technicaly, it DOES have a beach.
