BMG and Warner Bros are finalizing plans to merge together. Huge huge merger, tons of resources are going to this. The talks have been pushed back twice due to them not being able to reach a compromise on some issues, but if they do reach an agreement, the labels start merging immediately.
I wouldn't be surprised if a *lot* of albums from both companies are being pushed back and in limbo right now, especially since if the merger does go through, it's going to take a few months for things to fall into place and everything to get moving under the new structure.
Just my thoughts.
